In turn, Petřicek added that acts of desecration of monuments to soldiers-liberators could negatively affect the monuments to Czech soldiers and officers that are installed in other countries.
“I will not tolerate vandalism both at home and abroad. This may harm our interests in Europe and other parts of the world, ”the minister said.
Earlier, the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic said that the desecration of the monument to the Red Army soldiers in the Czech city of Ostrava has no justification and confirms the danger of the disrespectful treatment of some political forces with the history of World War II.
