For the first time since President Moon Jae-in took office, he presided over the Ministerial Conference on Education and Reform. The meeting started a while ago, and it seems that there will be a general discussion on the reform of the entrance examination system, such as an increase in the proportion of on-time.

President Moon Jae-in convened the first ministerial meeting on education.

The meeting was attended by a meeting of the Minister for Education and Reform, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Engineering, Employment and Labor, and the Minister of Small and Medium Venture Business.

Three days ago, at the National Assembly's speech, President Moon said that it is unfair in education that the people are most pained.

As a result, the meeting, which was just started, is expected to discuss not only increasing the proportion of time, but also reforming the entrance examination system, including supplementary measures for the student division.

In particular, attention is focused on how to increase the proportion of time. A Blue House official said that the discussion will be based on the results of a public opinion survey published by the National Education Council's realignment committee last year.

At the time, the overtime weight gain was the most supported in the survey.

The ministry says today's discussions will be reflected in the plan to strengthen fairness in the college loan system, which is scheduled to be announced next month.
