“By a general vote, parliamentarians accepted the resignation of Igor Zyuzin, he was dismissed from his post at his own request on October 25,” the website of the City Duma reports.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee reported the detention of Zyuzin on suspicion of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale.

According to investigators, in 2017 Igor Zyuzin, who was then the mayor of Zverevo, received a bribe of more than 2.6 million rubles from the head of a commercial organization.
