The weather will be cloudy on Friday over a large part of the country, with light rains on the northwest and more and more thunderstorms in the south, according to forecasts by Météo-France on Thursday.
Clouds are numerous in the morning over a large part of the country except around the Mediterranean and near the Pyrenees, where the sun will prevail. A disturbance will bring some low rainfall on Brittany and along the Channel coast.
Unstable weather in Corsica
The weather will remain unstable in Corsica, with still showers sometimes stormy in the morning then rains will be more rare before focusing on the south of the island.
The afternoon will see the return of a largely sunny weather, on the southern half of the country and a small quarter northeast. On the north-west quarter, the sky is more charged and near the channel a few drops will be possible. Southwesterly winds will be gusty at 60/70 km / h along the Channel coast. Mistral and tramontane will be present at 60 to 70 km / h in the morning then weaken in the afternoon.
In the morning the temperatures will be fairly homogeneous, from 8 to 13 degrees on the country and from 13 to 16 degrees on the Mediterranean rim as well as in Corsica. In the afternoon, it will be 15 to 19 degrees over the northern half of the country, 18 to 24 degrees south.
