The victory was HV's eighth straight in the series and finished 12th overall in 13 matches in the Swedish women's hockey league.

The strongest contributor on Friday night was the Canadian center Kennedy Marchment - last season in just Linköping - who scored the 2-0 and 5-0 goals, and was noted for an assist to Julia Tylke's 4-0 goals.

HV71's other goals were set by Canadian Kaitlyn Tougas (1-0) and Rosa Lindstedt (3-0). Kennedy Marchment's three individual points took her into split points leadership in SDHL, along with Brynäs Swiss forward Lara Stadler. Both have scored 22 points.

In a lopsided table, HV leads by twelve points before the second Brynäs.
