“This is a deliberate attempt to create a nervous situation in the light of statements about the meeting in the Norman format, in order to wait for any angry reaction from Russia and begin to pull the rest of the Norman four for the nerves. But we have closed the topic of Crimea and are not going to either discuss it or be indignant, ”the deputy said.

Earlier, a spokeswoman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced Kiev’s readiness for negotiations on “restoring Ukrainian sovereignty” over Crimea.

She noted the readiness for negotiations in the Norman format, aimed at restoring the country's sovereignty over the "parts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions occupied by Russia".

Crimea became the Russian region after the 2014 referendum, in which the majority of the peninsula's people supported reunification with Russia.
