On Thursday, October 24th, Franco's remains were exhumed in a basilica in the Valley of the Fallen near Madrid.
Then they were taken by helicopter to the Mingorrubio cemetery in El Pardo, where his wife is resting.
In September, the Supreme Court of Spain upheld the exhumation of the remains of Franco.
Franco ruled Spain from 1939 to 1975.
