The electorate is pending and the support for the political parties has remained largely unchanged since the previous SVT Novus survey in September.

None of the changes that have taken place since the last survey are statistically significant.

- We were able to note a major change after the summer in the September investigation, linked to the increased crime reporting. That reaction persists and now the voters are waiting for political solutions, says Torbjörn Sjöström, CEO of Novus, to SVT News.

The Liberals under the block

The Liberals still have problems and with their 3.7 percent, the party would leave Parliament if there was an election today.

The party has some support in big cities (5.7%) and larger cities (4.2%). Support in the rest of the country, where a significant proportion of voters live, is down to 1.5 per cent today. This is more than one-half the same time last year (3.2%), a statistically significant decrease.

How should the Liberals do to become a party to the whole country?

"The only thing you can do is listen to people across the country and make sure you answer the questions you have and the problems and challenges that exist," said Juno Blom, Liberal Party secretary.

During the summer, the Liberals elected new party leader, but despite this, the party has not raised significantly and no "Sabuni effect" has emerged.

- We are now facing a national meeting and this is where it will be the start of the new one. So even though it's never fun to see these numbers, I think the most important thing for us right now is not to make short-term plays. Without it, it is about sitting still in the boat and answering the societal problems and shaping the policy that our voters feel they are in need of, says Juno Blom.

S largest, SD and M split second

The largest party is the Social Democrats with 25.8 percent followed by the Sweden Democrats and Moderates of 20.5 percent and 19.5 percent respectively. But SD is greater than and M is still not statistically certain. The Swedish Democrats are today three percentage points above the election results last fall.

The environmental party now stands at 5 percent, which is 0.6 percentage points above the election result. The Left Party's support is 8.4 per cent and it is the lowest level since January 2019. According to the survey, V loses voters in principle exclusively to S.
