It is the effect of the quarterly results of large American companies. Even with some exceptions - like Texas Instruments - they are turning out better than expected. As for Tesla, which rose by as much as 20% in night trading.
Also on the Ftse Mib are the quarterly data to fly two stocks: StMicroelectronics (+ 4.92%) and Saipem (+ 3.67%). The largest declines for Nexi (-0.25%) and Atlantia (-0.82%). Outside the main list, + 2.13% for Salini Impregilo, after the company announced that in the first nine months of the year contracts for € 6.9 billion have been won or are closing, twice as many compared to the same period of last year.
Today the last ECB meeting under the presidency of Mario Draghi, who at the end of the month will leave the baton to Christine Lagarde. At 2.30 pm the press conference, no new adjustments to interest rates are expected.
