British agents have started to identify the 39 bodies that were found in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in a truck near the English town of Grays. Two houses in Northern Ireland, possibly owned by the arrested truck driver, have been searched by the police, BBC News writes.

The 25-year-old Northern Irishman is still stuck on suspicion of murder. The truck was moved to a different location on Wednesday for the investigation.

Agents expect that identifying the teenager and 38 adults will take "some time".

The vehicle probably traveled from the Belgian town of Zeebrugge to the east of the United Kingdom on Wednesday morning. There it was checked just after arrival, after which the bodies were found.
