French winger Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, whose test in the offseason in Cleveland was inconclusive, finally found a base in Brooklyn, where he signed a "two-way contract".

The former Philadelphia, Oklahoma City and Chicago player signed up for the Nets on Wednesday night, while his new team was defeated for the first game of the season against Minnesota (127-126 AP), despite 50 Kyrie Irving's points.

Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot has signed a "two way contract", which means that he will alternate between the NBA and his antechamber, the G-League, where the Long Island Nets evolve.

He will be able to spend up to 45 days with Brooklyn, after which he will definitely play in G-League. If the Nets want to continue using it, they will have to offer him a real NBA contract.
