The number of miles is an average per person and if you look at miles per car the figure is even higher: 1178 miles.

- I'm not very dependent on the car, because I live here in Torsby. So I'm trying to go, says Lisa Nilsson at the station.

Do you think you should raise the fuel price for the sake of the environment?

- Yes, I really like it, because it's good to think about the environment, says Lisa Nilsson.

The people of Karlstad drive at least

The warmlanders who run the smallest number of miles live in Karlstad: 668 miles throughout the year or 1.8 miles a day.
