The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicted that the temperature will continue to drop on Wednesday, with mild weather prevailing on the northern coasts, moderate on the sea side and Cairo to the north of Upper Egypt. Medium in most parts is accompanied by rainfall on the northern coasts and areas of the sea, Cairo and Sinai may extend to the north of Upper Egypt, and may be heavy and sometimes thundery on parts of the north of the country.
The heavy rains that fell on Tuesday on different parts of Egypt, the Egyptian government announced the closure of schools and universities in Greater Cairo, on Wednesday, as a result of predictions of heavy rains, and the continuing volatility of weather conditions.
"According to reports from the Meteorological Authority on the possibility of rain, Wednesday, on some areas in Greater Cairo more than what happened, on Tuesday, it was decided to disrupt the study in the governorates of Cairo, Giza and Qalubia in all schools and universities."
As for the weather in Alexandria, the governorate published on its Facebook page, that it has followed up the problems of rainwater pools and work to solve them.
