More than 14,000 Helsingborg citizens wrote on the name lists: We want a referendum on the sale of Öresundskraft.

When so many demand it, politicians in the council must raise the issue - but not necessarily say yes to the referendum proposal.

Although it will be a yes on Tuesday night - an overwhelming majority of parties want the people to say theirs.

The issue of sales has been a hot political issue since it became known after the election last year that an inquiry is being conducted at the service level without the parties being informed.

And the issue continues to be hot even when the council takes up the matter. It will be decided on everything from the referendum itself to polling stations and ballot papers.

Watch our video above about the important decisions that the parties do not agree on.
