"Innerstadens new Playa del Sol" reads the Facebook post that Kungsbacka Innerstad released on Monday. The sun sofas cost SEK 320,000, and are part of a larger venture where the municipality goes in and is investing in making Kungsbackaån a more attractive place.
- Now the sunbeds came up a little late, but we are so happy that it has happened. It feels wonderful and wonderful to be able to do something in this small and forgotten place, says Jessica Blume, site developer at Kungsbacka Municipality.
Why was it not until the end of October?
- It really should have been done before the summer, but for various reasons it has been delayed. We will see if it is possible that we can decorate with Christmas lights here in the future, says Jessica Blume.
How many do you think you will use these chairs now?
- It's hard to say, but this summer we hope people go there and use them, says Jessica Blume.
