During Wednesday, the planned day surgery at the hospital in Köping will roll on as usual again. Normally, twenty-five scheduled surgeries per day are performed in Köping, which involves minor interventions in orthopedics, urology and gynecology.

- It feels great that we can be up and running again, now it's just that we get order in deliveries. The signals are that it comes in from the pharmacy service, but not at all to the extent of normal deliveries. Then we also get material from other suppliers, says Liselott Sjöqvist, Deputy Hospital Director.

New message on Thursday

On Wednesday, about 15 planned surgeries will be canceled at the hospital in Västerås, but on Thursday the stop will also be lifted there and the planned surgeries will roll out during the week.

- On Thursday, we will decide what the planned operations will be on Monday and Tuesday, says Liselott Sjöqvist.
