The road to a car driving license is not always nail-biting. Recent statistics from the Swedish Transport Administration, compiled by the news agency Sirén, show that since 2013, more than 1,200 people around the country have driven at least 15 times.

The one who has cogged most times is a 45-year-old from Sollentuna who needed 50 attempts to cope with the driving. Among the Western bouts, not as many attempts have been required, the one who struggled the most is a 45-year-old from Umeå who, after his 24 attempts, finally managed the drive.

193 times

In total, ten county residents have driven up 193 times, three of them are still struggling when they were last seen

According to the Swedish Transport Administration, despite the figures, it is extremely uncommon for 15 attempts or more to cope with driving.

- During this period, a total of just over 1.8 million driving tests were conducted, says Kristina Hagberg, manager at the Swedish Transport Administration Driver's Test, to the News Agency Siren.

15 occasions in two months

The county governor who drove up most times in the shortest time is a 41-year-old umebo who, on two months, from August this year, failed 16 times in the run-up.

- We are trying to say that you should keep up with your test opportunities. We sometimes see that you come back too soon to take tests, and there is nothing to stop them if there are free times, says Kristina Hagberg.
