It was in December 1995 that a 32-year-old man was killed in his apartment in Upplands Väsby in northern Stockholm County. The murder has been investigated by the Stockholm Police's Cold Case Group and new information has now emerged in the 24-year-old case. This has led to a 55-year-old man arrested for the murder.
The suspect has previously been up to date in the investigation, police say on his website. What new information has been added is not disclosed, but they state that it is, among other things, new technology and new research methods that make it possible to get new traces in old cases.
