According to Lukashenko, tensions are growing all over the world “not by the day, but literally by the hour”, which affects the situation at the state borders of Belarus.

“Instead of the belt of good neighborliness that we offer, an arc of instability looms. And in this situation, you must do everything to not even give a reason for destructive forces to destroy the world created on this earth, ”the press service quotes him.

The Belarusian President noted the important role of the Security Service, both in ensuring internal peace and in protecting the state from aggression.

Earlier, Lukashenko expressed concern about the planned large-scale NATO exercises in Poland and the Baltic countries.

In September, he also said that he was forced to “close” the border with Ukraine due to the flow of weapons from there to Belarus.
