According to the statement, "the national security sector has been able to monitor the attempt of the terrorist group to exploit the incident referred to pitting public opinion and provoke chaos and confusion among the citizens."

The statement added that legal procedures have been taken and the Supreme State Security Prosecution is following investigations.
