The relevant resolution was published on the official portal of legal information and entered into force on November 1.
“To approve the attached provision on conducting exercises to ensure the stable, safe and holistic functioning of the information and telecommunication network Internet and public communications network in the territory of the Russian Federation,” the document says.
The provision states that the exercise is carried out at least once a year on the basis of the exercise plan approved by the Ministry of Communications and Communications, which is agreed with the FSB, the Ministry of Defense, the FSO, the Ministry of Emergencies and the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control.
“Exercises are a combination of organizational, technical and tactical measures aimed at the fulfillment of training tasks by the participants of the exercises in a specific situation of threats to the stability, security and integrity of the Internet in the Russian Federation, with the exception of the Russian state segment of the Internet, and the general communications network use, ”- says the approved provision.
In September, telecom operators began installing equipment as part of the Runet’s Sustainable Law.
