The second line of the XV of France Sebastien Vahaamahina, excluded in the quarterfinals of the Rugby World Cup against Wales, announced Monday his international retirement, in a statement sent to the newspaper Midi Olympique.
"It was my last match with the XV of France," said the player (28 years old this Monday), expelled the day before for a violent nudge on the third line Welsh Aaron Wainwright (49th). An exclusion that had left his teammates at 14 and weighed in the elimination of France, beaten 20-19 by the Welsh.
