- We went out to all 600 employees in the country and gave them the information this morning, says Stefan Lindbäck CEO at Lindbäcks Bygg.
The reason is that the company wants to streamline operations.
How did the employees take notice?
- It was different, some thought it was expected given the reduced demand for housing in the market. Others reacted strongly and were frustrated and saddened that they might be forced to leave their jobs.
They are employed at the two factories in Öjebyn and Haraholm where 300 people work, which will be terminated but exactly how many of these are from the different factories Stefan Lindbäck did not want to go into the current situation.
Lindbäcks has 120 employees throughout the country, of whom 12 are allowed to go.
