This withdrawal is in line with the Washington-brokered truce agreement, a 32-kilometer border zone.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), dominated by Kurdish fighters, completed Sunday their withdrawal from the city of Ras al-Ain, in northern Syria, besieged by Turkish forces and Syrian auxiliaries, according to the Syrian Observatory of Rights of Man (OSDH).

The head of the SDF, Mazloum Abdi, had told AFP on Saturday that his forces would withdraw, as stipulated by a Washington-brokered truce agreement, from a 32-kilometer border zone, as soon as Ankara forces let them leave Ras al-Ain.
