The Messines have let slip a point in the final seconds in the Norwegian women of Kristiansand, 38 to 38, Saturday in the Champions League Handball, having had up to seven goals in advance.

With two wins and one draw, Metz still has a two-point advantage at the top of his group, but can be a source of regret.

Driven by an Imperial Zaadi Grace (12 goals), the champions of France have led from the 15th of play until 30 seconds from the end. The score was 27 to 20 at the beginning of the second period.

The Norwegians nibbled in the last twenty minutes thanks to their goalkeeper and equalized on a penalty. Orlane Kanor (5 goals) had the ball to snatch victory over the ultimate action, but his shot went down on a fee.

The Messines found the team that beat them last May for third place in the Final Four in Budapest. First French in the final square, they hope to do at least as well this season.

They will receive Kristiansand in the next match on November 3rd at the Arena. A victory will be essential to enter the main round in the best conditions, the results of the first phase being retained.
