German police on Friday arrested a 34-year-old man who filed a lawsuit against him for obstructing a public institution for deliberately obstructing a metro train on a street in the western German city of Essen to allow his wife to join him.

Police said that the man accused of obstructing the metro, which was preparing to start from the station by standing on the tracks on which to move to prevent the walk until his wife arrived at the station, causing disruption of the interests of passengers.

She added that the husband did this behavior after the metro driver refused his request to wait for his wife to come to the station, before forcing him to wait until the wife arrives.

The ride, which forced the driver to wait for his wife to the subway, lasted only one stop, after police found him waiting at the next stop and arrested him.
