Corentin Ermenault of France was crowned European champion of the individual pursuit while his compatriot Mathilde Gros took the title in the keirin at Euro-2019 track cycling on Saturday in Apeldoorn.

A third Habs, Bryan Coquard, also won the gold medal in the points race.

Ermenault beat Germans Domenic Weinstein and Felix Gros in the final, while Mathilde Gros beat Germany's Lea Sophie Friedrich and Russia's Daria Shmeleva.

In the men's event, the keirin was won by the Dutchman Harrie Lavreeysen.

With these three new titles, France now has five medals after Benjamin Thomas's gold in the omnium on Friday, and the bronze medal in team speed on Wednesday.

The European Championships ends Sunday.
