The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court began hearing the case of 12 Asian men accused of killing one person and attempting to kill another, after kidnapping them from one of the industrial zones in the country and assaulting them with iron pipes and wooden parts, against the backdrop of competition among them for selling alcohol, and decided to postpone the case to hear the second witness in the 29th session. October.

During the hearing, the court heard the first witness, the second victim, and explained that he was kidnapped while in an industrial area, where the defendants got out of a four-wheel drive vehicle, beat him, and forced him into the vehicle, and then met with the first victim «dead» He was sitting in the middle of the back seat of the vehicle surrounded by two of the defendants, and showed signs of the attack, where he was bleeding from his head, pointing out that one of the defendants and the river prevented him from prolonging the victim.

He said, “They were asking us about the trade in the sale of alcoholic beverages, amid the continuation of the assault on us. Then they went to a dark sandy area and took me down. After beating me for more than half an hour, they handed me over to another three and took me by car and left me on the highway in an industrial area. `` I took a taxi driver and I contacted one of my friends with his phone because they stole my phone and money with me.The driver took me to my friend's address.He stayed for three days and then went to a private hospital for treatment.Then I went to the police station to release a report. ''

Asked about the court's failure to notify the police as soon as they left him, he replied that he was in violation of the state's residency procedures and feared that he would be arrested by the police, explaining that he knew of the victim's death only in the investigation.

During the hearing, the tribunal allowed him to identify the defendants closely, and to identify four of them, noting that the kidnapping and assault on him lasted for about two hours, noting that he tried to escape from them more than once, but they managed to tighten their grip on him.

The "dead man" was surrounded by two of the defendants and was bleeding from his head.
