The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court has begun to hear the case of 12 Asians accused of killing one person and attempting to kill a second after they kidnapped them from one of the industrial zones in the UAE and assaulted them using iron pipes and wooden pieces, against the backdrop of competition among them for the sale of alcohol, and decided to postpone the case to hear the second witness at the hearing 29 October.

During the hearing, the court heard the first witness, "the second victim," and explained that he was abducted while in an industrial area where the defendants got out of a four-wheel drive vehicle and beat him and forced him into the vehicle, and then met with the first victim "dead" where he was He is sitting in the middle of the back seat of the vehicle, surrounded by two defendants and showing signs of the attack where he was bleeding from the head, pointing out that one of the defendants has prevented him from prolonging the sight of the victim.

He said: "They were asking us about the liquor trade amid the continuation of the assault on us, then went to a dark sandy area and took me down and after beating me for more than half an hour they handed me to three others who moved me to one of the cars and left on the highway in an industrial area, so I called a driver of a car The driver took me to my friend's address, stayed for three days, went to a private hospital for treatment and then went to the police station and released a report. ''

Asked about his failure to report to the police as soon as they left him, the tribunal replied that he was in violation of the state's residency procedures, and feared that he would be arrested by the police.

During the hearing, the tribunal allowed him to identify the defendants closely, and to identify four of them, noting that the kidnapping and assault continued for about two hours, noting that he tried to escape from them more than once, but they managed to tighten their grip on him.
