It is noted that Uss, its administration, the regional government and the Legislative Assembly of the region express deep condolences to the families of those who died as a result of this incident.
On October 19, at 02:00 Moscow time, in the vicinity of the village of Shchetinkino, Kuraginsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, on the river Seiba, the dam of the technological reservoir of the gold mining artel was destroyed.
As a result of the emergency, 15 people were killed, another 13 were missing. A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of the deaths.
According to available data, the collapsed dam is not officially registered anywhere, and the houses built in the area of this hydraulic engineering structure were erected with violations.
