EU: Brexit: vote on Johnson deal may be adjourned

TIME ONLINE | News, backgrounds and debates

London (AP) - In the debate over Boris Johnson's new Brexit deal, MPs in the House of Commons will first vote on a postponement of the ruling. This was announced by Parliament President John Bercow. If the motion were accepted, parliamentary approval of Johnson's Brexit deal would be impossible today. If there is no approval today for Johnson's deal, the Premier would be required by law to apply for Brexit extension in Brussels.
