Earlier it was reported that during the riots in Catalonia on Friday, October 18, at least 182 people were injured, another 54 participants were rounded up.

Barcelona police also informed that more than half a million people took part in the demonstration in support of the independence of Catalonia in the city center.

Mass unrest began after the Spanish Supreme Court sentenced 12 politicians accused of involvement in an illegal referendum on the independence of Catalonia and the declaration of independence by the local parliament in 2017.
