According to the minister, there is already an agreement to convene a regional council in order to allocate funds to support people who did not receive a salary in the past heating season.

“So they agreed to go out to work. Also, brigades will be sent from other utilities in the region to solve technical problems. The issue of electricity supply from Ukrzaliznytsia will also be settled. Therefore, we are working on a solution to this situation. People will be warm, ”concluded Babak.

The statistics department of the Lviv region indicates that, according to data for 2019, almost 30 thousand people live in the city.

Earlier, Naftogaz published a list of debtor companies involved in heating Ukrainian cities. Due to the debts accumulated by them, a number of settlements in Ukraine may remain partially or completely without heat in the winter.
