The Yemeni government renewed its refusal to engage in any peace consultations with Iranian Houthi militias, under the auspices of the United Nations, before implementing the provisions of the Swedish agreement regarding Hodeidah, releasing prisoners and prisoners, and lifting the siege of Taiz.

This came during a meeting with Foreign Minister, Mohammed Al-Hadrami, yesterday, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Martin Griffiths, to discuss the developments of the peace process in Yemen, including with regard to the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement.

Al-Hadhrami stressed that the continued intransigence of the Houthi militias in the implementation of the Hodeidah agreement should not be ignored by the international community and the Security Council, pointing out the positive and full engagement of the government team in the Coordinating Committee for the Redeployment and its commitment to implement what was agreed upon at the last joint meeting of the committee, including This included the lull, the ceasefire in Hodeidah, the deployment of observers along the lines of contact, and the readiness of the liaison officers at the operations center aboard the ship of nations.

Al-Hadrami reiterated the government's support for the efforts of the UN envoy and his team to reach a lasting and sustainable political solution in Yemen under the three agreed terms of reference.

For his part, the Special Envoy stressed that he and his team continue to make every effort to achieve the full implementation of the Stockholm Agreement, in order to ensure movement towards comprehensive peace in Yemen, according to the agreed terms of reference.

In turn, the leader of the National Resistance, a member of the Joint Command in the West Coast Front, Brigadier General Tariq Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, called on the Yemeni presidency to announce the end of the Swedish agreement, stressing that the Houthi militias have demonstrated their practical practices - over 10 months - on their categorical rejection to implement the terms of the agreement.

In a speech at the launching ceremony of his field visits to the training centers of the Republic's guards, he pointed out to the Yemeni people, with the support of the brothers in the coalition, that the capital Sanaa will be taken from the hands of the militias, which is the first goal and purpose of forming these forces. Brigadier Tariq explained that the practices of the Houthi militias are in complete contradiction with the Stockholm agreement, which is its attempts to manipulate the efforts of the United Nations, to circumvent the redeployment steps in Hodeidah, the file of prisoners, as well as their violations that did not stop one day, and its continuing crimes against civilians.

He said: "The war on the West Coast was stopped, for what they were talking about for a humanitarian catastrophe. We have shown a willingness to open the 16th kilometer road, Houthi refused, and for the third time in a row refused to meet the liaison officers to come down to monitor the ceasefire, as well as the prisoner exchange agreement." "Everyone vs. all, and then comes and says that he has presented an initiative with the United Nations outside the framework of the Stockholm Agreement. It is a selective initiative."

The leader of the National Resistance "Guardians of the Republic" called on the various parties and national forces to unite ranks, towards the single goal, which is to complete the liberation of the homeland and its capital Sana'a, and restore the abducted state institutions from the grip of militias, stressing that «the liberation of the capital Sanaa, as a goal, will unite us all» .
