“As for Turkey and the F-35, there have been no changes regarding Turkey’s return to the F-35 production program,” her statement at a TASS briefing quoted her as saying.
The representative of the US Department of Defense noted that Turkey still produces 900 components for the F-35, but will complete its obligations at the end of March 2020.
“Turkey ... will continue to do so until the production line for which Turkey is responsible is transferred (to another country. - RT ) at the end of March 2020,” the Lord said.
Earlier, Erdogan announced his intention to discuss with the US President Donald Trump the issue of supplies of the F-35 during his visit to Washington on November 13.
