“The leadership of the metropolitan police headquarters appointed an official audit. In case of confirmation of guilt, the detained police officers will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies for negative reasons and will be punished by law, ”the department said.
At the same time, the ministry noted that if the guilt of the detainees is confirmed, then heads of these employees will also be brought to strict disciplinary responsibility.
Earlier, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that on October 17, in Moscow, when receiving from a citizen 3.5 million rubles, the deputy chief of the Russian Interior Ministry’s department in the Dorogomilovo district was detained — the police chief, as well as his deputy — the head of the criminal investigation department.
