The director of the European department of the fund, Paul Thomsen, said this during a conversation with reporters at the annual autumn session of the governing bodies of the IMF in Washington.

“We intend to send the mission back to Ukraine in a couple of weeks to continue discussing the details of a number of reforms,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Yakov Smoly held a meeting with the head of the IMF Kristalina Georgieva.

On October 14, the Kiev International Institute of Sociology published a poll, according to which 44% of Ukrainians consider cooperation with the fund to be useful, and 37% - harmful.
