Washington (AP) - The executive chief of staff of US President Donald Trump, Mick Mulvaney, has brought the White House with contradictory statements in the Ukraine affair in explanation. Mulvaney acknowledged in a rare appearance in Washington that the US government had temporarily withheld a Congressional disbursement of military aid to Ukraine - also with regard to alleged events surrounding the 2016 presidential election. Giving and taking was common in foreign policy.
