Secret footage from inside a poison lab in Germany revealed tests on animals including monkeys, cats and dogs in a particularly tragic situation.

The "horrific" footage, leaked from the Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory of the Pharmacy and Toxicology Laboratory in Menenbüttel, on the outskirts of Hamburg, showed a group of monkeys screaming in pain, some handcuffed with metal tools, and a number of dogs and cats bleeding until Death, according to the British newspaper The Sun.

The video and a group of pictures on social media showed monkeys tied with metal arches in rows on the wall, others tied their heads tied up and appeared in a desperate attempt to escape.Hounds seem to bleed heavily as a result of their experiences.

A clandestine activist who took a job at the research facility from December 2018 to March 2019, said he witnessed tests on hunting dogs, monkeys, cats and rabbits, conducted for pharmaceutical, industrial and chemical companies around the world, and the clandestine activist confirmed that animals were living in appalling conditions.

According to the clandestine activist, animals are treated violently by workers who are not trained to care for animals.

Cats are often given up to 13 injections a day by untrained workers and let them suffer.

Police were informed of the conditions in the laboratory and investigated the irregularities.

Laws in Germany, which protect animals from experiments, are not strict enough, the Australian Daily Examer quoted animal rights activists as saying.

The company says it conducts its research "according to national and international guidelines."

"Toxicity testing involves animal poisoning to see how much chemical or drugs it causes to cause serious harm in an attempt to measure the" safe "dose for humans, according to the Crew Free International.

"Animals are injected or fed or forced to inhale increased amounts of a substance to measure potentially toxic effects including vomiting, internal bleeding, shortness of breath, fever, weight loss, lethargy, skin problems, organ failure and even death.

"Anesthetics or pain relief are not provided."

"Our investigation has revealed horrific animal suffering, inadequate care, bad practices and violations of European and German law," said Michelle Theo, chief executive of Corporate Free International. "We call for the closure of the Pharmaceutical and Toxicology Laboratory (LPT)."

"We also call for a comprehensive review of the use of animals in regulatory toxicity tests in Europe, including the UK," Theo said. "Every investigation, without failure, shows a similar story of misery and ignoring the law."

Creative Free International is an animal protection and advocacy group that campaigns to eliminate all animal testing. Certificates are given for cruelty-free products, which feature a jumping rabbit symbol.
