The testimonies of the sister and two of the victim's daughters have evidenced for the umpteenth time that in the family nucleus no one trusted anyone anymore and that the last months of Mari Carmen Martínez's life passed between intrigues, recordings, spy movements, grudges and lies.
Antonia Martínez - sister of Mari Carmen and known as Aunt Toñi-, has concluded before the jury that Miguel López, the accused of giving two shots to his mother-in-law in the family car wash for a matter of "power and money", was A person he didn't trust. "He was a great manipulator, " he said in a firm and determined voice. For their part, Mar and Tania Sala, their nieces, confirmed what was already known: that after the death of Vicente Sala Sr., the family unit jumped into the air .
The death of the former president of the CAM in August 2011 freed his four children from keeping the forms and the desire to be able to control the company that made the family one of the richest in Spain was a priority. A scheme, the latter, strongly removed from which the members of the saga scrupulously followed in his father's life. "Before, everything was wonderful, but after Vicente died, things stopped working," Toñi explained.
