The high mass of contemporary art opens its doors this Thursday and is exposed everywhere in Paris. For its 46th edition, the international fair receives 199 handpicked galleries at the Grand and Petit Palais.

The International Fair of Contemporary Art ( FIAC ) with its stars and emerging artists and its procession of openings between petits fours and champagne dinners opens Thursday, October 17 in Paris.

A coveted rendezvous for discerning and amateur collectors from all continents, FIAC is a must-attend event that is both commercial, social and festive. " FIAC is considered one of the most important fairs in the world, bringing together the most powerful galleries of international importance, says Jennifer Flay is the director of the fair. It is also the fair with the biggest footprint in the city with our projects on Place Vendome, Place de la Concorde, in the Tuileries Garden, on Churchill Avenue, in the Petit Palais. Projects that are of a scale without comparison. No other city can compete with this density of visible exposure at the same time. "

From visual arts to cinema, performances to dance and rock, FIAC offers a panorama of creation that no institution can offer in such a short period of time. More than 70 sculptures and monumental installations are to be seen in the public space until October 20th.
