The alarm about the accident came at 07.35. The transport consists of a truck with a trailer and the tow truck should have overturned on a smaller road.
"Some animals are left in the trailer and some have run out on a field nearby," says Christian Lind, internal commander at the rescue service Östra Götaland.
The animals must have been picked up on a farm near the site of the accident.
- Now we must help to collect the wild pigs. A new transport is ordered and a veterinarian is on his way to the place.
The rescue service expects to remain and work for a few more hours.
