The Bundesliga leaders have plenty to play this weekend, with five teams tied for third place, while the new leader Mönchengladbach hopes to win the "Borussia derby" and plunge Dortmund into crisis.

For a recovery after the international truce, this 8th day of the Bundesliga remains very uncertain. Munich, Freiburg, Leipzig, Schalke and Leverkusen are tied in points (14) in third place, ahead of the "new knives" M'Gladbach and Wolfsburg.

On 5 October, Mönchengladbach had exploded Augsburg (5-1) to be alone in the lead of the championship. They find on Saturday Dortmund for a "derby Borussia" heavy stakes for them to stay ahead, only for the Yellow and Black, in doubt after three consecutive draws in the Championship and whose coach Lucien Favre is clearly under pressure.

"I have no choice, I know how it works," responded the Swiss, questioned on its delicate situation. "It's unfortunately like that, but I continue."

Another meeting of the weekend, the Wolfsburg dolphin, the last unbeaten team of the season moves to Leipzig.

Munich, beaten at home by Hoffenheim (2-1) in early October, which had dropped from 1st to 3rd place, hopes to show another face Saturday. Lewandowski and his teammates, however, should not have too much trouble to face Augsburg, the worst defense Bundesliga (19 goals conceded).

At the bottom of the table, Cologne receives Paderborn, who still has not won this season.
