Berlin (AFP) Despite the economic downturn, the Federal Government sees no impending economic crisis. Although the export-oriented industry is under pressure, the domestic economy is "still intact," said German Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier (CDU) on Thursday. In its fall forecast, the government expects economic growth of 0.5 percent this year and 1.0 percent next year.
