“This year, 39 terrorist attacks were prevented at the preparation stage, 32 militants were neutralized, 679 were detained, 22 are inclined to abandon terrorist activities,” RIA Novosti quoted Bortnikov as saying.
He also said that 49 terrorist cells that had planned attacks in various regions of the COUNTRY were eliminated.
Earlier, Botnikov said that since the beginning of the year, 15 crimes of a terrorist nature have been prevented in the North Caucasus and 30 terrorist cells have been eliminated.
