General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has adopted the National Behavioral Rewards Strategy, which aims to motivate and adopt positive behavior among members of society by monitoring positive community behaviors and rewarding those who are committed to them.

The strategy targets different segments of society and focuses on students, youth, family, senior citizens, people of concern, business men and women, and workers in various sectors.

The strategy covers five pillars, which include: the empowerment of individuals, the axis of family support, the axis of community interaction, the axis of promoting the economy, and the axis of upgrading the state.

The first axis is achieved through three basic programs: «self-direction», «community interaction of the individual», and «leadership of the future empowered with skills and knowledge».

The second axis includes four programs: «wisdom» on the participation of senior citizens in support of positive behaviors, and programs «mom and dad» and «buds of the future» and «family cohesion», which aims to establish positive behaviors in society and ensure their sustainability.

The third theme, through five programs, focuses on social responsibility to motivate private sector institutions, and the optimal use of social media platforms to activate the platform of community inspiration, and highlight the ideal behaviors of the community, and stimulate the educational environment to ensure the cultivation of positive behavior to build a generation that preserves UAE customs and values. “Lifelong neighbors” to promote community convergence in neighborhoods.

The fourth pillar is based on four core programs, the Smart Economy program to encourage community members to adopt the principle of saving and sound planning, the program of “Smart Consumption” to stimulate awareness and knowledge about consumption options that suit the needs, and the “Digital Innovation” program to empower productive families.
