Umniah has discovered 15 malicious applications running on the Android system and located on the Google Play Store, and downloaded more than 1.3 million times by users.

The SophosLab report said that applications 15 initially appear to be auxiliary tools, but they are actually advertising programs that create ads within our devices, and once installed do not even appear as icons, which is very difficult to find and delete.

Live Hacker reported that some apps deliberately display a misleading message saying that the app does not support the device when someone tries to run it, making the average user doesn't care to remove it, but what actually happens is that the app continues to run in the background and displays ads on User phone.

Nine exposed applications used icons and names that trick people into thinking they are system applications needed for their phones.

Malicious applications include image editing software, phone finder, and QR code readers, while their actual purpose is to provide unwanted advertising programs to users.

How do you remove it?
While Google has now removed these 15 apps from the Google Play Store, 1.3 million users already have them on their phones.

Users are generally advised to avoid downloading any application that does not contain any reviews.

To remove these applications, a spokesman for the security company SophosLab said if you suspect that one of the apps you have recently installed is not visible and is running in secret, click the Settings button (gear icon), then Apps and Notifications. List at the top of this page.

"If any of these apps use the Android public icon (which looks like a small silhouette for Android in a greenish-blue color) and has generic names like backup, update, and time zone, click on the generic icon," the spokesman told TechRadar. Then click "Force Stop" followed by "Uninstall".
