The department of Côte-d'Or will send two bottles of Burgundy to US President Donald Trump. An initiative that aims to change its opinion on the customs sanctions against the European Union, which must include French wine. For Bruno Le Maire, invited Wednesday morning of Europe 1, these sanctions will indeed have "an impact on our wine exports". But the Minister of Economy assures: "If they persist in this decision, we Europeans, we will take the same sanctions, perhaps more important, within the framework of the World Trade Organization, to respond to the US sanctions ".
