After 40 hours of sleep, the game Fortnite was reactivated Tuesday around 10:00 GMT with many updates, much to the relief of millions of players who gnawed their brakes.

After cleverly grabbing the attention of a part of the planet by replacing its game with a fixed black hole plan for almost two days, the publisher Epic Games has put online the "chapter 2" Fortnite, equivalent to the 11th version since its release, in July 2017.

Unlike games of previous generations, Fortnite can only be played online. Players therefore depend on the maintenance and updates made by the publisher.

In this new version, Epic Games has introduced a new map, with an island much greener than that of season 10, including more hills and rivers.

At the beginning of the game, 100 players land on the same island and must kill each other until there is only one left, the winner. This game mode, called "Battle Royale" and used by other games, has become the most popular in the world.

It is also possible to play in teams.

Among the few notable developments in this update, players can now swim, fish, or navigate the water with boats.

More than 15,000 Internet users watched Tuesday live on the Microsoft Mixer platform the first steps of Ninja, the most famous Fortnite player in the world (22.4 million subscribers on YouTube), in this new configuration "chapter 2" .

If it remains free, the game allows you to buy a Battle Pass, which offers access to a wide range of accessories, for 950 V-Bucks, the virtual currency of Fortnite. The purchase of 1,000 V-Bucks costs $ 9.99.
