It is noted that 56% of Russian residents declare a positive attitude towards Ukraine, of which 9% said that they treat the neighboring country “very well”. This is the highest since April 2014.

The study also showed that in Ukraine and Russia, the majority of respondents are positive about the neighboring country.

Also, most of the participants in the study believe that both countries should be independent and friendly, as well as have open borders.

The sociologist at the Levada Center, Karina Pipia, believes that the dominance of Russians' bad attitude toward Ukraine was reversed after the election of Vladimir Zelensky as the Ukrainian president and the first steps on interaction between the countries.

Earlier, less than 50% of Ukrainians called cooperation with the IMF useful.
